Team building in the outdoors is a great way to get out of the office and unwind. Come along to Owl Lodge and let us provide you with all you need to get that team bonding in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. We have such a wide variety of activities we are sure we can find something for everyone in the team to benefit from. Let us know the group size and the aim of the event and we will pack the time with us with fun and lots of action.
Choose from motorised vehicles including quad bikes and off road buggies or country sports including clay pigeon shooting and archery. Either combine these together or pursue individually depending on the time and budget of your event. We have a unique Treasure Hunt with a difference around the beautiful National Trust village of Lacock, just 5 mins down the road from the venue. The group splits into teams and we supply each team with a backpack of essentials and clues which take you around the village and through the NT Lacock Abbey to find the winning team.
Our instructors work with a flexible approach towards each individual and their group, so if you have a team of mixed talents and experience, those who require ‘special attention’ will get it.
We offer a variety of teambuilding tools including ‘Ice Breakers’ and ‘Command Tasks’ which, by participation, encourage teamwork and develop the skills of communication, leadership, motivation and decision-making. The whole environment provides the essential elements required for learning and development. For specialised courses we work closely with highly experienced management and training consultants offering structured courses which focus on aspects of teambuilding and development specific to the requirements of your business and its employees.
See Multi-Activity Days for more information on motivating the larger groups and taskforce or for work celebrations. Tailor a combination of motorised and country sports along with anything else that inspires you. There are endless ideas and possibilities. See our activities for ideas and guidance on group sizes.

Corporate team building activities
For any company to truly excel it is vital that their staff work as a cohesive unit. Over the years, commercial enterprises of all sizes have found that one of the best ways to achieve this goal is by taking employees out of their normal surroundings and presenting them with various challenges that require them to work together in order to overcome obstacles and complete the tasks they are set. Although there is a serious point to such activities, we believe that there should be an element of fun running through them for them to be truly effective. For over a decade, we have been organising tailored events and fun team building days for clients from all over the UK. Our instructors are all fully qualified and experienced in their field of expertise and we work in conjunction with top training consultants to provide courses that are designed to meet our clients’ specific needs. Because every organisation is different and is comprised of individuals with their own strengths and weaknesses, we encourage interested companies to contact us by telephone so that we can make a recommendation once we are aware of their particular circumstances and what they hope to achieve.
Variety is the spice of life
We have found that concentrating on one particular activity is not always the best choice and some of the most effective team building ideas for management teams involve a range of activities during the course of a day. Our purpose-built facility enables us to offer a variety of pursuits that test a number of different skills and are sure to be enjoyed by all participants. Our location in the beautiful countryside of Wiltshire is perfect for people who spend most of their life behind a desk and overnight accommodation can be arranged for parties that wish to extend their stay or would like to camp out in the fresh air as a pleasant way to end the day. Some people may be reticent to become fully involved at first in office team building games that include outdoor exercises, but our instructors are very good at getting the most out of every person to make sure the activities are a complete success. Some of the activities that we offer at our venue are country sports such as archery, clay pigeon shooting and falconry whereas others offer high-octane excitement with the chance to drive off-road buggies and quad bikes in demanding conditions.
We had a fantastic time. Everyone commented on how everything went so well. The Murder Mystery was hilarious. We all felt, and it was commented on by a number of people, that your team were very professional, a great balance of calm control and fun and really friendly. The whole day flowed at the right pace and gave time for us all to relax and chat as well as get stuck in to the activities. The weather helped of course as it was sunny but we all agreed it would still have been great even if the weather hadn’t have been so good. Food was very good as well. The Americans really enjoyed it. Some of the UK guys have done a number of these things before but they said it was the best place they had been to. I have done a number of these type of work events and I don’t normally enjoy them but this was different on so many levels and I had a ball. It all just worked really well. Thanks again to you and all your team. - Sarah
