About us
We have been at our venue Owl Lodge in Lacock, Wiltshire since 1997 and have spent the last few years renovating our extensive site purely for the pleasure of offering motorised and country sports activities. Along with our dedicated team of instructors, we aim to provide you with new skills, inspiration and unforgettable experiences.
History
Back in 1997 we were looking to expand our base, so armed with success and knowledge of our customer needs, we set out to find a location of our own so that people could come to us. We were fortunate to find 2 redundant farm buildings, which were all that remained of Selves Farm and have over the past 10 years we have renovated and brought them back to life.
Our site offers an ideal setting for outdoor events with acres of unspoilt countryside. ‘Owl Lodge’ provides 2 meeting spaces ‘The Orchard Room’ and ‘Cara’s Barn’ along with a fully fitted kitchen and awe-inspiring views from the two verandas set on the edge of the Cotswolds, but in close proximity to Bath, Bristol and surrounding countryside.
Owl Lodge has been aptly named in respect of its long term and remaining occupiers, the family of barn owls who live in the loft. The old farm buildings have been sympathetically restored and an owl box renewed for use by our guests. To add to this special treat we have the privilege of watching these beautiful birds and their young through the CCTV and monitor. The venue offers an ideal environment for outdoor activities and events, held within acres of beautiful countryside. The amazing views and sense of being part of ‘the great outdoors’ help to promote clear heads, open minds and encourages fun and stimulation. There is plenty of space for parking, barbecues, Pizza Oven and picnicking, tents and marquees.
Teampursuits offer days (or half-days) of motorized, traditional country sports or team building events. Having all 3 elements available on one site along with the catering we have the flexibility of being able to tailor packages to suit your exact requirements and budget. We try to be as flexible as possible, allowing for individual tastes, talents and budgets.
