Barn Wedding Venue Wiltshire - Countryside Wedding

Owl lodge provides the perfect barn wedding in Wiltshire and is wonderfully set up for weddings and civil partnerships as it is set in a quiet and secluded location on the edge of the Cotswolds, but providing all the essential ingredients to make your wedding day special and most definitely unique.

We can offer all the assistance you require to organise your day, just come along and have a chat about how your day will exceed all your expectations.

To make that day special it might go something like this:-

From the car park guests make their way across the cobbled yard, more used to hooves than stiletto’s!!, and into Cara’s Barn reception with our fully licensed bar area. After enjoying celebratory drinks and the views on the 40’ elevated veranda your guests will make their way upstairs to the oak beamed Cara’s Barn dining room.

Once the speeches have been made and the cake cut your guests can mingle and wander as they please around the private grounds of Owl Lodge.

As the evening approaches The Orchard Room becomes the dance floor with the double doors opening out onto the veranda perfect for those that prefer to watch both the dancing and the sunset! For events that run later for additional catering we can fire up the pizza oven and guests can enjoy freshly cooked pizzas – one of the finishing touches to the perfect day.

Wedding venue facilities we offer can include:

Cara’s Barn has an oak beamed vaulted ceiling and seats 60 comfortably and is approx 17′ x 33′. If your guest size is larger we can bring in marquee’s (see below). The barn offers a stunning view out across the fields and beyond to add to the atmosphere of your special day. The ground floor of the barn has toilets and disabled toilet facilities. The reception area is used as a bar and has double opening doors onto the cobbled yard area which we have now covered with a dance floor and can cover with a marquee for all weathers.

The Orchard Room is on the ground floor and has disabled access from the double doors onto a large veranda. This room is usually used for extra dining as seats approx 30 people. The size is approx 30′ x 12′ and has a wood burner and radiators. It is a great room for the disco if not using the marquee area over the cobbled yard.

Marquee – we can recommend suppliers that can provide marquees for up to 120 guests.

Catering – please contact your choice of caterers direct and discuss your specific requirements. Our outdoor pizza oven is now under cover and is the perfect option to choose for those evening guests with the munchies.
